Untitled

Silence, my lover.
Like a moth to flame
I crave it.
Safe in the cocoon of my mind
I drift...
Pulling the blanket over my head.
I sigh,
Breathing.
My breath in and out,
Following the rhythm of my pulse.
Peaceful, beautiful silence.
Silence,
So bold and black.
Bottomless, ever breathing.
Surrounding me.
Comforting me.
Stroking me.
Playing over my body like fingers of my lover.
Silence, my lover.
Always there in the recesses of my mind,
In the space surrounding me,
Ever breathing.
Silence, my lover.
Neither cold nor cruel,
Safe or warm,
Lover mine, silence.

Ode to Coffee

O noble cup of velvet brew!
I thank each passing day for you.
Your poignant smell so nice and sweet,
I would sell my soul for a mug of thee.

Your dark roast I admit is quite devine,
Your Cappuccino and Espresso a personal fav of mine!
I like you in the morning, I like you in the afternoon,
Whenever I make you, I sing a little tune.

I always drink more cups then three,
I'm wired for sound, and buzz like a bee!
While having this energy, does make me too lean,
I know I could never give up my caffeine!

I love my coffee with sugar and cream,
Its such a great combo, what a winning team!
I like to pour you long and slow,
But when I'm in a hurry, I take you to go.

Its such a wonder the charge in the bean,
That I do like it better, then a taste of Morphine.
While I sometimes wish I could set up a drip,
Perhaps that much coffee might send me on a trip!

And so I raise my mug in a toast,
You dear Coffee, are the one with the most.
To the end of time I am your loyal slave,
Three cups a day I shall always crave!

White T-Shirt Project

Part 1:
Sometime in May (exact date TBA) you will be given the option to appear in this documentary. You will be asked to arrive (location TBA as well) in a plain white t-shirt with freshly washed hair, free of product and untouched by styling tools, and absolutely no make-up or accessories of any kind. Upon arrival, you will fill out a form and appear on film for a few seconds. This will become the "before" shot.

Part 2 (the fun part):
Take your white t-shirt and do something with it. Anything. Follow your first instinct! Put it back on and style yourself however will best showcase your personality. The "after" shot will be filmed in a location of your choosing, wherever and with whoever you feel most like yourself.

This promises to be an exciting film that will be submitted to many festivals.
